15th ANNUAL CHARITY BOWL-A-THON FOR THE BEREAVED FAMILIES OF ONTARIO(Hamilton/Burlington)
Martin & Hillyer together with the Bereaved Families of Ontario will raise proceeds for this year’s bowl-a-thon to be donated to the Bereaved Families of Ontario. The Bereaved Families of Ontario provides grief programs specifically designed for adults who have experienced the death of a child and for children, teens and young adults who have experienced the death of parent or sibling. In 2007, the BFO supported 81 parents, 13 children, and 7 young adults in their grief journeys. In Burlington alone the BFO serviced 42 teens in their Missing Pieces workshops. The Bereaved Families of Ontario relies solely on the donations of generous individuals, companies, and community organizations
The event will take place on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at Burlington Bowl.

After 14 years of bowling to help such worthy causes as the ALS Society, Big Sisters Youth Program, the AIDS Network, Wayside House of Hamilton, Nelson Youth Centre, Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital MRI fund, Acclaim Health (formerly known as the VON Halton) and most recently The Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children the lawyers and staff of Martin & Hillyer are very excited about this year's fundraising event. With loads of great prizes including, 50/50 draws, raffles and a silent auction; this year's bowl-a-thon promises to be our most fun event yet! Space is limited so sign up today!

Gift donations including gift certificates, door prizes, raffle items and silent auction items would be greatly appreciated. In the past, these items have contributed significantly to the amount of proceeds raised and donated to our designated charities.
Lane Sponsorship: We have 48 bowling lanes available for sponsorship. For a minimum cash donation of $ 200.00 we will post your company's name prominently over a lane for the evening.
Cash Donations: We welcome any cash donations to our event. Please make your cheque payable to Martin & Hillyer. We also accept VISA and Mastercard.

Register to bowl as a team or individual
We would be delighted if you, your staff, or colleagues could join us to bowl on May 14th at 6:00pm at Burlington Bowl. Teams will consist of six bowlers. The fee to bowl is $ 20.00 per person. Included are two games, the rental of your bowling shoes and a whole lot of fun! Profit from the registration fees will be donated to our fundraising event. Register with your team of six or as an individual and be placed on a team.
